DynaEditor

Dynacrypt® provides a Rich Text editor called DynaEditor for its users to prepare front-end notes or documents to its encrypted files. For example, you may want to write down notes with certain keywords describing how a directory was encrypted. The DynaEditor Window is shown in Figure 14.

The DynaEditor is not meant to replace your favorite word processor, it is simply a text editor. However, it does offer one particular benefit that other word processors do not. With DynaEditor, you can encrypt portions of a document.

  • Highlight the text you want to encrypt with the cursor.
  • Right-click and select Encrypt Selected Text.

The selected text encryption feature allows you to encrypt sensitive information in a document but allow others to read the nonsensitive text. As shown in Figure 15, DynaEditor has a ruler for visually controlling left and right margins or indentation.

Text can be written as bold, italicized, or underlined by selecting the b, i, or u icons as shown in Figure 16.

In addition, text can be left justified, centered, right justified, or simply justified by selecting the Justification Icons as shown in Figure 17 or by selecting the appropriate words in the Justification Menu.

In the Indentation Menu, a body text can be indented using Left Indent, First Line Indent, and Right Indent. Each indentation is approximately 0.25".

Bullets or Numbering can be applied to text by selecting the features in the Effects Menu . Bullets can be removed by selecting Normal in the Effects Menu. Also, Text can be any color by selecting the Color Icon on the DynaTool Bar .

The Color Selector Box will pop-up when the Color icon is selected as shown in Figure 18.
