Dynacrypt® gives its users the option to specify a file expiration time and date. This allows for the file to be valid only for the time and date stamped on the file. If the file is not decrypted before its time has expired, the file will be wiped clean and deleted without being decrypted.

To specify a file expiration date do the following:

1.   Select Date and Time Stamp from the Setup menu. A Date and Time Stamp dialog box will appear as shown

       below.

2.   Input the Date and Time in the appropriate fields in the Date and Time dialog box. The date is entered in the

       format, 02-25-2001, which represents February 25, 2001. The time is entered in the format, 08:15:20:PM,

       which represents the time of 15 minutes past the hour of 8 o'clock in the evening.

3.   Select the OK button when finished to accept the values.
