Dynacrypt® has a built-in event logger that records all of the user's actions. This is done for possible troubleshooting regarding any help information that is needed by the user or Customer Support Representatives (CSR's) at Mathematical Modeling, Inc. (MMI).
The DynaLog window also lists all of the files that were encrypted or decrypted, the file sizes, and the encryption or decryption times. The DynaLog events are stored in files with a *.dyn extension where the " * " represents the time of creation. For example, the DynaLog file "Dynalog Wed Jan 10 17 33 43 2001.dyn" represents a file that contains information from a Dynacrypt® session that was started on Wednesday, January 10, 2001 at 17 hours, 33 minutes, and 43 seconds in military time.
An example of the DynaLog Window is shown in Figure 19.

Dynalog files are purged from the system by selecting Purge in the File Menu.
